New headquarters for Muzéo in Montrouge in the South of Paris
A new decor to embody the essence of Muzéo: "Art at the service of design".
The move illustrates the company's renewal and the diversity of its offering. Montrouge is bringing in not only new employees, but also new business lines.
REDEVELOPMENT OF A BROWNFIELD SITE
In June, Muzéo inaugurated its new address at 31 Avenue Léon Gambetta in Montrouge, just a few minutes from Paris, in a space that used to house a bookbinding and printing company. Ten months of work, not including fitting out and decorating the workspaces, were needed to bring the company's DNA to the premises. The ground floor, under a glass roof, houses the manufacturing, printing, cutting, varnishing and framing workshops.
The offices are on three floors adjacent to the glass roof. The layout of the workspaces has been designed with the well-being of employees in mind, with an appropriate mix of open-plan offices, meeting rooms and relaxation areas, including the creation of a green terrace on the 2nd floor, a popular living space for employees.
Art is omnipresent in the layout of the workspaces.
Every space is enhanced, whether it's the stair risers or the interior of the lift, which are reminiscent of Muzéo's vocabulary, the entrance hall with its bespoke lighting, and of course the walls, Muzéo's creative playground. The essential sales showroom, complete with a materials library, brings together the entire Muzéo range in one space.
A GROWING TEAM
Expanding from 1,000m2 to 2,000m2, the new Muzéo premises have enabled the workshops to be reorganised and new staff to be welcomed. Éric Angiboust, Chairman of Muzéo, has stated his ambitions: ‘We want to continue to use artistic creation as a vehicle for emotion, extend the Muzéo offering and step up our international development. These new premises and this recruitment phase will enable us to pursue new challenges by making art an ever more integral part of our communal spaces’. Muzéo is responding to growing demand from the B2B market.
While its core business remains the hospitality sector, it has diversified considerably in recent years, particularly in the tertiary sector (offices, retail, coworking spaces, etc.) and internationally via its Artwork Consultants in London, Geneva and Dubai.
