N LE SPA, Le Negresco

More than 110 years after opening its doors, the Negresco is renewing itself once again with the opening of N le Spa: an exceptional collaboration combining Muzéo's artistic know-how and the expertise of architect Jean-Philippe Nuel, an international name in luxury interior design.

The legendary Negresco hotel in Nice is opening its Spa, an original concept where every detail has a meaning, and where the proposed experience can be read through the sensations provoked by art ....Muzéo is proud to have participated in this creation, alongside the teams of architect Jean-Philippe Nuel.

Indeed, more than a concept, this project was driven by a conviction: the emotion experienced in front of a work of art should be the common thread running through the experience offered by N Le Spa.

The Negresco teams had a desire, a very specific vision for this new space, and a novel idea: to put art and, more broadly, culture at the service of well-being, a natural positioning for Le Negresco, which has made Art its DNA: in fact, art can be found everywhere as a common thread running through the spaces and experiences. The aim was to give Spa guests the same sensations they experience when faced with a work of art: discovery and surprise, contemplation and emotion, immersion in the artist's world and a return to oneself. Swimming pool, boudoir, barber, sauna, hammam and experiential showers, treatment and relaxation areas and even immersive yoga - everything in this 700 m2 space had to be conducive to contemplation and serenity.

The main theme and guiding thread was therefore Art, based around 3 pillars:

Discovery - Contemplation - Immersion.

The Muzéo teams were mobilised to translate this holistic journey around Art and the senses by producing artworks for the ceilings of the Spa Cabins, frescoes for the relaxation areas and the Boudoir (3 diassecs measuring 70x70cm, 45x45cm and 40x40cm), windows for the swimming pool, frames and carpets.
