Situated on Barcelona’s dynamic seafront, this one-of-a-kind destination captures the essence of the Catalan capital with a twist of surreal elegance and cosmopolitan sophistication. For this exceptional project, Muzéo art consultancy was entrusted with the creative mission of shaping a bespoke storytelling experience through art—one that reflects the eclectic soul of Barcelona while embodying the daring, luxurious, and expressive identity of the SLS brand. At the core of Muzéo’s approach lies a curated art collection designed to surprise, inspire, and elevate the guest experience. Each piece was carefully selected or commissioned to echo the dual nature of the hotel itself: both theatrical and refined, contemporary and timeless. The collection brings together heritage elements, surreal compositions, and playful visual gestures, establishing a dialogue between Barcelona’s artistic legacy and the avant-garde language of SLS. From the lobby to the guest suites, from the spa to the social spaces, every artwork invites discovery. Sculptural installations, vibrant canvases, and statement pieces serve not only as decorative focal points but as evocative chapters in a larger narrative—one that encourages guests to pause, connect, and immerse themselves in a visually rich and emotionally resonant environment. This project was brought to life thanks to the creative freedom and collaborative vision of @Teckstone, @Ennismore and SLS Hotels, whose bold approach to hospitality allowed Muzéo to push artistic boundaries. It was a pleasure to enrich the visionary interiors conceived by @Rockwell Group and @AvroKO, seamlessly integrating art into their distinctive design languages. With SLS Barcelona, Muzéo delivered more than a curated collection—we crafted an immersive and experiential art journey, where aesthetic audacity meets thoughtful hospitality, and where every detail speaks to the exceptional nature of the place and the people it welcomes.
