Sofitel Villa Borghese, Rome

For the Sofitel Roma Villa Borghese, Jean-Philippe Nuel’s design blends the elegance of a 19th-century Roman palazzo with contemporary French art de vivre. Inspired by Rome’s classical heritage and the nearby Villa Borghese gardens, the artistic direction combines vibrant colours, sculptural imagery and references to Baroque frescoes. Muzéo produced bespoke, iridescent ceiling artworks for each guest room, creating the illusion of an open Roman sky.
