Orient Express Train 'La Dolce Vita'

Muzéo Art Consultancy played a pivotal role in conceptualizing the interiors of the Orient Express La Dolce Vita, transforming it into a cinematic journey that encapsulates timeless Italian elegance and a spirit of exploration. Drawing inspiration from Federico Fellini's La Dolce Vita and the aesthetic of 1960s Italian cinema, Muzéo infused the project with nostalgic glamour, sensuality, and artistic boldness. The consultancy's vision was to create a moving cultural experience—a curated, poetic, and sensorial homage to Italian history, design, cinema, and joie de vivre. This was achieved through a meticulous selection of artworks and design elements that reflect Italy's rich artistic heritage. For instance, the corridors feature 91 photographs by Marcello Geppetti, capturing the essence of the Dolce Vita lifestyle and the glamour of Italian cinema. In the suites and deluxe cabins, artworks by contemporary Italian artists like Marta Benet, Domitilla Biondi, and Sabrina Garrasi contribute to an atmosphere of visionary luxury and poetic architecture. Muzéo's approach ensured that each space within the train tells a story, inviting guests to immerse themselves in a narrative that celebrates Italy's cultural and artistic legacy. By integrating art, design, and storytelling, the Orient Express La Dolce Vita offers passengers not just a journey through Italy's landscapes, but also through its rich cultural tapestry. This collaboration between Muzéo and the Orient Express exemplifies how thoughtful art consultancy can elevate a travel experience, turning it into an evocative voyage through time, memory, and imagination.
