Engineering office at Muzéo
Creativity, technical precision and artistic know-how
The specific nature of the Muzéo business
The design office plays an essential role in providing crucial technical support for the design of projects requiring specialist knowledge. Its main task is to dissect the customer's creative intent, translate it into detailed specifications that take into account all the associated constraints, and then formulate one or more manufacturing solutions, together with their cost estimates.
When the sales teams are looking to put a figure on a project, they call on the design office to provide a technical response to guide the production phase. This technical response can vary depending on the priorities, whether they are to optimise the final result, meet a given budget or meet an imperative deadline.
The real expertise of the design office lies in its ability to assimilate and analyse all the technical data needed to complete a project, whether it's documents supplied by the customer upstream of the project or questions that arise during its implementation. This technical data serves as a compass to guide the search for solutions among various potential suppliers, while at the same time making it possible to understand and anticipate the constraints associated with materials and suppliers. This methodical approach ensures that the project is carried out efficiently, taking into account all the technical and budgetary variables. In short, the design office is the pillar on which the transformation of a creative idea into a concrete, feasible project rests.
It involves the manufacture and layout of materials, often printed, which are then installed in spaces subject to a variety of constraints. Compliance with specific standards, such as those relating to public safety or fire prevention, also plays a major role in the framing business.
We guarantee our customers whether or not their ideas can be realised, and at what price. This ensures that the project is well executed (with a solution that lasts), while keeping the budget under control.
The particularity of the design office lies in its ability to bring together the expertise of different commercial and creative requirements under one roof, while distinguishing between routine issues that can be dealt with in the workshop and those that are more specific. This approach makes for more efficient project management and guarantees a tailored response to every need.
What's more, the specific nature of the design office is also reflected in the wide range of technical demands it has to meet. Each project presents its own challenges and requirements, requiring a personalised approach to ensure customer satisfaction.
Speed is of the essence for the customer. Anticipating manufacturing and supply lead times is part of the viability of a costing that meets the time constraints of the project.
The quality of the elements produced by Muzéo, both in terms of their manufacturing quality and their ability to withstand the rigours of the site and its constraints over time, as well as their attention to detail, are also issues that require the advice of the design office.
Témoignage
Xavier, head of the design office, his most memorable project
